Min stemme, in English My voice/vote, is a learning website created to increase democratic participation and awareness in pre-school, primary and secondary education. Min stemme was created to be a part of the national celebration of two big developments in the Norwegian democracy. In 2013 we mark one century of universal suffrage, women got the right to vote in 1913. In 2014 we celebrate the bicentennial anniversary of the Norwegian constitution created in 1814.
Our goal is to gather all resources on democracy and participation and present them for teachers and students at this site. We will also develop new resources for classroom discussions and teaching in these areas. This includes the ability to their own productions, digital stories, cartoons, drawings displayed on the site.
You can read more about the website and the project in this article from the Nordic Journal of Digital Literacy.
